Credit Cards Make Money Online

Why Internet Marketers Use Keywords in Their Blogs

The world of internet marketing focuses around one thing, how to make money online. With affiliate programs, advertising revenue and direct product sales, there is really no reason for an internet marketer to go out and be a wage slave. Internet marketers focus on passive residual income.

They don’t want to live hand to mouth they want to do some work and get paid for it for the rest of their lives. This is the business owner mentality… When you hire an employee they are not just getting paid to do a job, they are part of a machine, a living organism that if managed properly will experience growth. Who reaps the primary benefits, the employee or the business owner?

Now that we are on the same page, we can move forward with today’s discussion. Blogging and Internet Marketing have two completely different objectives… It is the bloggers goal to discuss their topic, express themselves, reach out with the blogging community and share their knowledge and experience, perhaps even get a good pat on the back every once in a while from there peers for a job well done.

An Internet marketer is looking to make money and lots of it… They may seem innocent but they are anything but… There are primarily two things to focus on when trying to obtain internet traffic from Google, Yahoo and MSN.

If you’ve been following my articles you’ve probably realized what those two things are…

1.) Search Engine Optimized Original Content

2.) High quality backlinks containing targeted keyword anchors

Without links, we are dead in the water as far as Google is concerned. It is really quite a shame… I’m sure there are a million bloggers out there and I’d go as far as to say the ones that have the highest SERP’s are probably not the best writers, don’t have the most profound articles and are probably not the most creative.

The internet is a system; the system is no better than the rules and laws its governed by…

It is our goal as internet marketers to understand the system and exploit it using White-Hat SEO tactics.

I can explain the difference between White Hat SEO tactics and Black Hat SEO tactics in future articles but for now we are going to focus on the matter at hand. If you’re still with me on this one, its clear; we both want the same thing.

What is the difference between good content and bad content, do you think that Google, Yahoo or MSN can really tell the difference?
Readers can tell the difference between high quality content and rubbish but machines can’t. The one thing machines can detect is content that corresponds with a particular niche or topic. If you’re blog is about major league baseball then you should be focusing on the baseball teams i.e. San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Dodgers, New York Mets etc

You will also be focusing on the players i.e. Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr. etc…

If you were to write your next twenty posts about airplanes and vacation resorts in Cancun Mexico. This would send out red flags in the search engines, you would lose your search engine optimization advantage it would hurt your overall rankings.

Machines can simply detect if you are on topic by what keywords you use in your content. Certain niche keywords are related i.e. make money online, get paid for your opinions, earn fast cash, get rich quick and work from home…

Even a machine can read between the lines if you make it easy enough. Use your keywords like a master craftsman that is building a boat, incorporate certain keywords at different points in your articles to reinforce your niche and make sure that the major search engines can figure out what you are trying to say and offer it to users appropriately.

Write relevant content littered with your niche keywords and Google will think you are the greatest thing since apple pie!

Personally I try to incorporate as many keywords as possible but I don’t like to go overboard for the sake of my readers, if you write garbage posts then you’re sites will be treated accordingly. It is good to have a marketing plan for your website or blog, figure out what your long term goals are and set short term objectives that are easy to obtain.

I have big plans for this blog as it also acts as an online portfolio as a testament to how well I understand SEO, Page Rank and Internet Marketing. Beyond that, I intend to make it my highest revenue producing site despite the fact that the Make Money Online niche faces hypercompetition.

Try your best to target keywords that everyday people are looking for and write in a way that tells Google and the rest of the search engines that you mean business.

Focus on a niche that you have a passion for but also consider the type of traffic you could potentially generate based on targeted keywords that the niche could be associated with.

Lets return to the main focus of this article i.e.

How to Make Money Online with Credit Cards

I know what you’re thinking, what do credit cards have to do with making money online. Let me put it this way, the term Credit Card brings an incredibly amount of search traffic. I used the word credit in a post a few weeks back and before you could say timber I had traffic left and right. Keep in mind this blog still has a page rank of ZERO!! Imagine what would happen if my website was optimized for the term and I had the anchor text links to reinforce my position.

If the keyword term Credit Card is bringing in a ton of traffic and it is related to making money online (what do people usually pay with online?)

Wouldn’t it make sense to try to make money using the term and capitalize on the huge amount of traffic that swarms the keyword everyday?

Why do credit cards obtain so much search traffic and why don’t internet marketers jump all over the term?

The answer is, they have and they still will… People are making money left and right from the credit card niche and the internet marketers have figured out how to exploit the traffic and direct to their websites.

The term “Credit Card” has a monthly search estimate of over 30k daily hits… Talk about a highly desired term! You can obtain this information with a program called Keyword Elite.

Now considering that the 30k is the traffic for that single term, imagine how many other searches are being made for related products and services, not to mention the long-tail-keywords associated credit cards.

When exploring results in Google Adwords it was determined that people made search inquires for credit cards over 500,000 times per month!

Now, lets break down the fun stuff… Generally credit card companies pay Google Adwords upwards of $5 for each click they receive from content related advertisements. That means you will probably make anywhere from $1.50-$3.00 per click!

When you go to Google and search for credit cards you will find that the top 5-10 sites are not blogs. They are sites whose sole purpose is to generate prospects for credit card companies to solicit. This is a great example of how Google manipulates search results to try and provide their users with sites that compliment what the visitor is looking for. If someone looks for the general term credit card, what they will find are a bunch of credit card offers. The term is so general that Google wants to cater towards the buyer rather than the information seeker.

Keep in mind because the search terms are so general, Google doesn’t propose major companies like Visa, Mastercard or American Express because it knows that people would search for those companies by name.

To make a long story short, we need to cater our content to the niche and initially proceed to target long term keywords to get to the top of the SERP’s.

For example, recently I did a series on an opportunity called Project Payday, it took me a while to figure out how to position the article but I decided to leave the term for the title alone. Big surprise, nothing happened in regard to the search results. This is very similar to targeting the term credit cards.

I decided to write another article titled Project Payday Review. It was like a light came on from above, traffic started coming looking for the term and I was happy.

The point being, if you want to go after the credit card niche, target long tail keywords… Maybe you could start a review site comparing different credit cards and their bonus offerings?

Try to get to the top for the term:

What is the best credit card?

Focus on long tail keywords and you will be much more successful when trying to get to the top in a competitive niche.

To wrap it up, you can make money online in the credit card niche if you obtain fantastic high quality anchor text links and focus on a term that is highly searched for but specific.

My fingers are tired so I’m going to give this a rest…
