Trying to make a living from blog blogging can be an extremely difficult task and as such you must treat it seriously as it is a business if you make it one… Are you searching for effective ways to promote your blog? Blog promotion can be difficult initially until people begin to recognize its purpose and value in the web community. There are a few ways to go about getting traffic.
The three largest sources of traffic on the web include:
1.) Natural Search Engine Traffic
2.) Social Traffic i.e. Digg, StumbleUpon,
3.) Word of Mouth (Viral Marketing)
Blog blogging is not easy work, and unless you are determined and take action you will most likely not reap the benefits you desire from your efforts. People ask me all the time, why can’t I make any money with adsense? Why can’t I seem to get traffic to my blog or website? What am I doing wrong?
Chances are that if you are trying to achieve these goals, you are not necessarily doing anything wrong except not doing enough things right… Building content and building links, those are the two keys to success when trying to build a powerful website or blog…
If you neglect either of those tasks you will probably fail miserably or at bare minimum it will take you a lot longer to get to the same places that your competition is approaching…
Building a website and a blog is just like building a city. Before they begin construction they have city planners that draw up blueprints… You need to do the same thing even if your project is less tangible than theirs.
For example, I haven’t been completely honest regarding the total of this article. I don’t have an extreme interest in “blog blogging” and to be even more candid, I don’t really know what the term means, I have given it my own definition.
What I do know is that according to the Google Keyword Tool, the term receives 40,500 searches per month. I also know that that level of traffic will translate into roughly $10/day minimum in Google Adsense revenue. In addition, the traffic could result in additional email subscribers and affiliate income.
It’s funny that even if you provide information that is valuable to readers, they may decide that your website doesn’t look professional or that the information wasn’t exactly what they were looking for, and then they choose an exit, either with the back button of their web browser or through an advertisement or affiliate link.
The reason that I don’t mind sharing my knowledge regarding internet marketing and search engine optimization is because I’m not afraid of competition. If you really want to be number one for the term “blog blogging” and you take appropriate action, you can be the dominant force on Google but keep in mind that there are plenty of fish in the sea!
Nobody will outrank me for all of my targeted keyword terms because I target both the obscure and the prominent. I focus on a mix of terms and try to diversify my traffic in different niches and with different long tail keywords. I’m sorry if these concepts are a bit advanced but if you read through all the articles on this website, I’m sure you will understand these concepts as if you wrote about them yourself.
If this wasn’t information you were searching for when you typed in the term “blog blogging” then perhaps you will want to keep searching, if you want to learn how to be successful at blog blogging then maybe you should consider reading through a few more of the articles on this website and signing up for the Your Blog Is Money email newsletter.
